British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) is the national organisation for higher education sport in the UK.  Universities and colleges compete against each other in regional leagues to gain points for their institution and if successful, advance to national knockout competitions.  

During the 12/13 season, the University of Birmingham Netball Teams will compete in: 

1st Team - BUCS Midlands 1A Division.

2nd Team - BUCS Midlands 1A Division.

3rd Team - BUCS Midlands 2B Division.

4th Team -  BUCS Midlands 3A Division.

 11/12 News

1st Team - Finished top in the BUCS Midlands 1A Division and unfortunately got knocked out of the playoffs to the prem by 6 goals to Newcastle 1sts. 

2nd Team - Finished 1st in the BUCS Midlands 2B Division and therefore got promoted to the Midlands 1A Division for the 10/11 season.  

3rd Team - Finished 2nd in the BUCS Midlands 2B Division, performing well consistently and gave the 2nd team 2 real tough games and will continue to compete there next season.  

4th Team - Finished 2nd in the BUCS Midlands 3A Division, losing only one game throughout the season to the eventual winners of the league away however beat them on the opposite home fixture.

 

 The Netball Club also boast an all-Birmingham final in our most recent Netball tour, this year to Salou in Spain.
